RDOD is a combination of Rabeprazole – 20mg (as enteric coated) & Domperidone – 30mg (as sustained release).
Rabeprazole: Rabeprazole is an anti-acid drug belongs to the class of proton pump inhibitor. It minimizes gastric acid secretion by inhibiting proton formation which is essential for gastric acid production in parietal cell of the stomach.
Domperidone: Domperidone is recommended in condition of delayed gastric emptying – a medical condition in which movement of food in stomach to intestine is affected due to impaired gastric muscle movement. Domperidone helps in regulating this movement. It is anti-emetic.
- Strip of 10 capsules.
- For the treatment of symptoms like acidity, gas, dyspepsia, heartburn, regurgitation, nausea, vomiting. RDOD is indicated in GERD (Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disorder), Chronic Gastritis, Peptic Ulcer & Zollinger –Ellison Syndrome.
- One Capsule Daily for 4-8 weeks half an hour before meal, or as directed by physician.
